Academy Awards Programs

Perfect Attendance

Perfect Attendance awards are given Quarterly (4 times/year). To qualify for perfect attendance, students should be present at school every day, not missing a full day of school. If student misses school for a short period due to an appointment and brings in a slip from the appointment, then they can still qualify for perfect attendance. Attendance is taken at 8:10 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for elementary students and every class hour for secondary students. Tardies do not count against perfect attendance status.

*Secondary students that have perfect attendance for the quarter, must also pass all their classes to qualify for the reward.

Outstanding Attendance

Outstanding Attendance awards are given to students, quarterly (4 times/year), that miss a full day of school, but it is because of a documented reason that is accompanied by a doctor’s note. Outstanding Attendance may be awarded to a student that has 1 Illness that has caused a student to miss a block of days not exceeding 3 days, if documentation is provided.

*Secondary students that have outstanding attendance for the quarter, must also pass all their classes to qualify for the reward.
